Career at Home University Review – Link Posting Scam?

Career at Home University is a work at home opportunity being marketed by Melissa Mayer who claims anyone can start making money online without even prior experience in internet marketing.

Melissa Mayer further claims the method she will teach you is easy and it is a guaranteed way of making up to $379 a day, working comfortably at the comfort of your home.  She will show you exactly the same money generating method that enabled her to quit her regular day job and double her salary by just working 4 hours in a day within one month.

So, What Exactly is Career at Home University?

Career at Home University is an online training to teach you how to do affiliate marketing by posting links. According to Career at Home University, all you will need to do is follow the 3 outlined easy steps and in one or two minutes, you can expect to earn up to $15 or $58,000 per year.

Unfortunately, when it comes to making money by affiliate marketing, it is not as easy as it is being promoted.  Affiliate marketing requires proper marketing, persuasive ability and dedication. You are trying to convince someone why her or she should buy your product and not from another person and going around spamming the internet with links won’t help you in making any commission.

Also, there should be no guarantee on how much money you can make in a day or so. Affiliate marketing is not like a regular day job where you get paid a fixed salary at the end of the month. You will have to market the product and make some sales in order to get paid.

In addition, you will also have to register with other partner companies to start promoting their products.

How Much Money Does the Training Cost?

By the time of writing this review, Career at Home University training is costing $97, though according to the website, the information and materials that you get is worth more than $2000.

Conclusion

Over the last few years, several work at home opportunities have been launched. However, one major problem with all of them seem to be misrepresentation of the real nature of the opportunity and what exactly you will be doing once you become a member.

Unfortunately, this type of marketing is very deceptive because it gives unsuspecting readers the impression they will just be posting links while indeed the real work  they will be doing is affiliate marketing.

The other red flag has to do with the payment processor being used on the site. Even though Career at Home University claim you can request for a refund after 60 days, it will be very hard to get one since they are using personal payment processors and they control them.

Finally, I wouldn’t recommend anyone to invest in this kind of program. If you really need to learn how to do affiliate marketing, there is alot of free resources or information on the internet. You do not have to pay anything to get access to it.
