Do you have a social influence, social experience or do you think you can be a good social moderator? If you do, then you are on the right place.
Today, I am going to review Emoderation, which is social media moderation platform that hire people from all over the world to work in multiple languages.
What is Emoderation?
Emoderation Limited is an award-winning social media management agency that works with some of the world’s biggest brands, including BBC Worldwide, HSBC, among others.
To be hired as moderator of any of their partner company, you must be fluent in the language that you are applying for as well as have a good to above-average knowledge of social media.
As stated on their website, Emoderation prefers hiring experienced community managers, social media managers and moderators.
However, even if you do not fall in the mentioned categories, you can still apply since they do offer training on professional UGC moderation through partnership with Moderation Gateway and expert training on leading social media platforms.
Note: Most of their hired staffs are from UK and USA. In addition, you will also need to have a stable internet connection and a computer or laptop with a good antivirus and a malware protection already installed.
Once you get hired, you do not have to work as Emoderation employer rather, you can work as an independent contractor. As an independent contractor, you will need to take care of your own taxes and report all your earnings, if you are making over $600 in a year.
How Much Money Do You Get Paid?
How much money you earn depend on your position, number of working hours and your previous experience. However, you can expect to earn in between $15 to $16 per hour. You get paid on monthly basis.
Conclusion
If you enjoy interacting with people on social networks, you have previous moderation experience or you hold any of the positions mentioned in this article, then I do recommend you take a closer look at Emoderation.
With the current pay of up to $15 per hour, if you are able to work atleast 8 hours in a day, it will add up to something good, which can help you to pay some of your bills.
The company seems to be very popular among members who have been using it. However, I did come across one complaint about a member who claimed was never paid.
I am not sure what might have happened since the rest of the Emoderators both employees and independent contractors seem to be enjoying what they are doing and especially the pay.
